If you really need 25 licenses, you’ll be paying about $8.40 to protect each device, a good deal. If you have a lot of devices, F-Secure is ready for you. That $139.99 price is the same (or nearly) as for ten licenses of ESET, Trend Micro Premium Security, or ZoneAlarm. For just $20 more, you get 10 F-Secure licenses. You pay $119.99 for five licenses, a bit more than the $104.99 price of Norton 360 Deluxe, which, like F-Secure, includes a full-powered VPN. Fortunately, F-Secure’s pricing looks better and better as you add more licenses. That price will get you five licenses for quite a few security suites it’s not a good deal. The lowest list price for F-Secure Total is $89.99 per year for a single license. However, the company logo has a completely new look. The products retain their somewhat whimsical user interface, with stylized people, trees, and clouds in the background.

F-Secure Product Line ShakeupĪt the time of our last review, F-Secure’s product line consisted of the basic F-Secure Anti-Virus, a Windows-only suite called F-Secure Internet Security, cross-platform F-Secure Safe, and F-Secure Total, a bundle of F-Secure Safe with F-Secure’s VPN and password manager products. These two products are our Editors’ Choice winners for advanced security suites. Bitdefender Total Security also offers a wealth of security features, and both score very well with independent labs.
Like F-Secure, Norton 360 Deluxe builds in VPN protection, password management, and identity monitoring, but those features are just the start. That said, many competitors offer even more. F-Secure Total, reviewed here, expands its protection to include password management, identity monitoring, and a full-scale VPN, all integrated into one attractive suite. F-Secure’s entry-level suite is sparse on extras, with antivirus, parental control, banking protection, and not much more. While they almost invariably include antivirus protection, security suites vary widely in their collections of other protective features.
